Dream big & forget about the HOW

traveltheworldI’ve been happily inundated with messages recently from followers intrigued with my story.

They want to know how I quit corporate for good (actually, I manifested my layoff) and traveled the world for three years.

They want to know how I had enough money to travel, study yoga, study with spiritual masters, and live at some of the best beaches in the world (I live here).

They want to know how they can do it too.

So this is for you, loves.

Most of my private coaching, retreats, and tele-courses are for people just like you, wanting to make a change but can’t seem to get enough damn courage to actually DO IT.

It’s a journey.  But in the meantime, my message for you is this:

Forget about the HOW.

Forget about how something can happen and instead allow yourself to want what you want. Dream big. Get really clear on what you really want. No negotiations.

Quiet the negative, doubtful, fearful ego that prevents you from really setting your sights high.

Forget the voice that gives you all the excuses about why now isn’t the right time to leave the job you hate, how the economy sucks, how you don’t have enough money saved, and on and on. These are tricks of the mind.

Most of us are too afraid to want what we really want because we can’t see how we will get it. ~ Jack Canfield

Back four years ago when I was still working in corporate finance, while commuting on trains I would close my eyes and allow myself to dream big. I smiled, cried, and gave myself chills with the thoughts and visions of my dreams.  I really practiced feeling the feelings of what it would be like to have my dream NOW.

Every time my mind got caught up with how, I said to myself, “Its not my job to figure out how….my job is to believe in what I want (the end result) and cultivate the feelings of having that now. The universe will take care of the rest.”

This requires Faith. Trust. Patience.

When you live in this leap of faith, when you take a step in the direction of your dreams without knowing how everything will happen, you signal to the Universe you’re ready to step up your game. You’re ready for more. More success. More prosperity. More love.

Everything is energy. When you feel the feelings of living it now, then you align with the frequency of what you want.

Studies show that imagining doing something and actually doing it are almost exactly the same to the brain. You want your feelings and thoughts to vibrate at the same frequency as your dreams.

Your dream already exists. When you align with it’s vibrational frequency, it’s only a matter of time before it physically manifests in your life.

You are divine. You are a child of God. Your every desire manifest is your birthright.

With abundant love,

Tara

  1. Do you have any suggestions for a consistent practice in imagining our dreams and visions? I find it interesting how thinking about our dreams being real are just as powerful as them actually being real. I realized I am at a block. I am afraid to succeed or keep sabotaging myself before I start. If you have any tips on a practice to help with that I would be greatly appreciative. Namaste! xox

    • Hola Rachelle! It takes practice. There’s no magic trick that makes it happen. If you find it hard to imagine then I would meditate more. Meditation takes us to a more relaxed, calm, and peaceful state of mind….That calm place is tapping into our heart space where our creativity and our ability to imagine is. At first it was hard for me too. I spent time practicing this everyday to forge new pathways in my consciousness. You should too. Practice, practice, practice. And it will become natural. Hope thats helpful. Lots of love and thanks for reading and commenting! xoT
